The Hub Grill & Bar in Mesa, Arizona

The other night before baseball practice we headed over to The Hub Grill & Hub in Mesa, AZ. It was our first time in but it won’t be our last!

The boys loved the walls of TV’s as they chowed down on the appetizers!!!

Exploding Cheddar Potatoes: Thin-sliced HUB chips topped with melted cheese, green onions, crispy bacon & sour cream
Stuffed Green Chilies: Anaheim peppers with chorizo, melted cheese, jalapeño cream sauce & pico.

They had me at “Stuffed Green Chili’s”! Seriously, SO good!!!! I’ll be back for those chili’s! Just sayin’ 💁🏼‍♀️.

Check out their menu here!

Dinner was just as bomb as the appetizers!!

Fish Tacos: Local corn tortillas with grilled cod, citrus slaw, chipotle sauce, pico de gallo & mixed cheese. Served with black beans.
The tacos had the best hint of a bite. I don’t like things too spicy but those Cod tacos were perfect!!!
Chicken Tenders: Southern style, double hand battered, extra crispy fried tenderloins. Served with fries.

The boys devoured their chicken tenders & as they watched sports on the many screens around the place. Over all we really enjoyed this place! We will be back!

Have you been? What is your favorite thing to get from them?

Rudy’s “Country Store” and Bar-B-Q in Gilbert

Family dinner for grandma’s 80th birthday!!! She hadn’t been to Rudy’s so it’s where we decided to take her! She LOVED it!!! I probably should have taken more pictures but we truly were enjoying ourselves! Oops next time. 💁🏼‍♀️

We ordered the brisket, turkey and pulled pork. It was so good, as you can see 😉🤷🏼‍♀️ next time I’ll take more pictures! But trust us it was bomb! For our sides we got cream corn (MY FAV), coleslaw, and potatoes. Again it was so good! Have you tried their cream corn yet?

But I did take a picture of dessert!!! 😂🤣 It’s the important things people!!! 🙈 We had the banana pudding, peach cobbler and buttermilk pie. It was delicious!!!

Needless to say we had a great time, we ate amazing food and we got to celebrate Grandma’s 80th birthday!!!!

Alamo Drafthouse in Gilbert | Tremors movie party

The other night we went and watched one of our favorite over at Alamo Drafthouse in Gilbert; Tremors!

If you haven’t been to one of their movie parties I would highly recommend it!!! We were met with a Kevin Beacon look alike, sorta 🤫😂, they gave us awesome props AND they encourages us to quote our favorite lines in the movie. How can you go wrong?

They gave us poppers to pop during the BIG gun battle! Candy cigarettes, remember those things?, and lighters for the audience to light every time they used their lighter in the movie. It was awesome!

My teenagers, 16 &13, might have been the youngest people in the theater but they were quoting the movie with the rest of us. #MomWin.

It was just an amazing time to spend the evening with my family, watch a movie we all love, and have a blast while doing it! Check out Alamo Draft House in Gilbert for their next movie party!
